Historic Mount Pleasant
Historic Mount Pleasant (HMP) is a volunteer-based membership organization formed in 1985 to support preservation of historic sites and the historic designation of the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Washington, D.C., which occurred the following year. Membership is open to all individuals who support these goals. HMP is managed by a Board of Directors, elected annually at a general membership meeting.

Mount Pleasant Main Street (MPMS) is a community-based, non-profit organization, committed to promoting community development and cultural uniqueness and to enhancing the economic health and streetscape design of the Mount Pleasant commercial corridor.
North Columbia Heights Civic Association
The North Columbia Heights Civic Association (NCHCA) is committed to fostering community involvement and improving quality of life for residents of the northern half of Columbia Heights. The NCHCA has a focus on neighborhood clean-ups, improving green space, contributions to local schools, public safety, graffiti abatement, improving traffic patterns and introducing bike lanes, and forging relationships with existing and potential businesses. Our mission shifts according to the expressed interests of our membership.
